Our first model in the Andreas Eastman series shows our commitment to quality tonewood and expert craftsmanship.
Each VC-200 instrument is made by hand from selected aged wood, then coated with an amber-colored varnish that is not only attractive but also strong and durable.
Outer layer: Shaded spirit varnish
Fingerboard: Ebony
Top: European/Chinese Spruce
Back/Ribs: European/Chinese Maple
Purfling: Real wood is worked by hand
Bridge: Despiau
Fittings: Ebony, composite tailpiece with fine-tuner

The Andreas Eastman Model 305 Cello is one of our most popular instruments. The strong tonal and visual impression is the result of the materials we use. Selected spruce wood is used for the top and striped maple for the back, sides and scroll. Then the wood is coated with antique-style varnish and equipped with ebony pegs, chinrest and tailpiece.
