Each VL-200 instrument is made by hand from selected aged wood, then coated with an amber colored varnish which is not only attractive but also strong and durable.

ANDREAS eastman vl-305
The Andreas Eastman Model 305 violin is one of our most popular instruments. The strong tonal and visual impression is the result of the materials we use. Selected spruce wood is used for the top and striped maple for the back, sides and scroll. Then the wood is coated with antique-style varnish and equipped with ebony pegs, chinrest and tailpiece.

The Andreas Eastman Model 405 violin features a type of varnish that resembles the varnish used by craftsmen in the extraordinary Markneukirchen, Germany in centuries past.
These craftsmen distinguished themselves by developing some of the finest varnishes of the modern era, and we have used their recipes and techniques to achieve these vintage results.

JEAN-PIERRE LUPOT vl-501
Each Jean Pierre Lupot model 501 violin is made with flame striped maple on the back, sides and scroll, and select spruce on the front. The elegant reddish varnish layer gives the impression of a dark red wine.
